Video: KCR meets Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at a hospital in Hyderabad

On a Sunday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy undertook a visit to a private hospital situated in Hyderabad to extend his well-wishes and support to the former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader, K Chandrasekhar Rao. This visit came in the aftermath of KCR's hip replacement surgery, which took place on December 7 following a fall he experienced.

The incident leading to the surgery occurred a few days after the Telangana Assembly election results, wherein the 69-year-old KCR suffered a fall at his farmhouse in Hyderabad. Following the mishap, he was promptly relocated to Yashoda Hospital in the city, where the hip replacement surgery was performed. Medical reports indicate that a period of recovery is anticipated for the BRS supremo before he can resume his official responsibilities.

The visit by Revanth Reddy, a prominent figure in the Congress party, was characterized by expressions of goodwill and a brief discussion regarding the Chief Minister's health. This occasion provided a glimpse of unusual political camaraderie amidst the customary political discourse. Revanth Reddy conveyed his earnest hopes for KCR's expeditious recovery, expressing optimism about the swift resumption of his official duties.

Notably, in the recent Telangana Assembly election held on December 3, the Congress party secured a significant triumph by winning 64 seats out of the 119-member assembly. This victory added a layer of significance to the political landscape, setting the stage for a renewed dynamic in the state's governance.
