After BJP's Pragya Thakur claims there is a "conspiracy to harm her," Akasa Air issues an apology

Bharatiya Janata Party's Member of Parliament from Bhopal, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, voiced her concerns on Friday, calling upon the Aviation Ministry to take decisive action against the crew of a particular airline, whom she accused of attempting to inflict harm upon her.

Expressing her grievances through a post on social media platform X, Pragya Thakur addressed the Honorable Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, highlighting an incident that allegedly occurred during her flight from Mumbai to Delhi with Akasa Air, operating under flight number QP1120. She specifically named the Duty Manager, Imran, and his associates, alleging a conspiracy aimed at causing her significant harm. She expressed hope that appropriate action would be taken in response to her ordeal, concluding her message with the phrase "Jai Shri Ram."

In response to the MP's allegations, Akasa Air issued an apology, expressing regret over the inconvenience experienced by Pragya Thakur during her de-boarding from flight QP1120 on February 15, 2024. The airline assured that it would conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and extended its apologies for any discomfort caused. Furthermore, the airline viewed this incident as an opportunity for self-reflection and improvement in service standards.

This recent incident isn't the first time Pragya Thakur has been embroiled in controversy related to airline travel. In 2019, she sparked a controversy following an altercation with the SpiceJet crew over seating arrangements, which resulted in a delay of over 45 minutes for the flight.
