Eknath Shinde warns Maratha quota activist Jarange, Don't test our patience

In an address earlier in the day at Antarwali Sarati, Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange made severe accusations, alleging that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was orchestrating a plot to harm him. Following these assertions, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde responded, cautioning Jarange against pushing the limits of his government, particularly after levying such serious allegations against Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis.

Shinde also took a veiled swipe at key figures in the opposition, including Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, while addressing Jarange's claims.

During his speech in Antarwali Sarati, Jarange claimed that Fadnavis was attempting to eliminate him, further alleging an attempted poisoning through saline, albeit without providing further details.

Expressing concern over repeated protests against the government, Shinde emphasized the need to maintain law and order, suggesting a similarity between Jarange's rhetoric and the usual discourse employed by Pawar and Thackeray.

Speaking to reporters on the eve of the Maharashtra legislature session, Shinde addressed Jarange's aggressive demeanor and his use of profanities in speeches, indicating that appropriate legal action would be taken.

He also hinted at an unfolding conspiracy that would soon be revealed to the public.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis stated that the state government is aware of the individuals associated with Jarange's allegations and assured that more information would be disclosed at the right time.

When asked about Jarange's intention to stage a protest outside Fadnavis' residence in Mumbai, the Deputy CM asserted that it was his official abode and open to anyone with legitimate business, irrespective of their agenda.
