Every impoverished household in Andhra Pradesh will receive ₹5,000 per month from the Congress, not like Modi ki Guarantee

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has unveiled the Indiramma Universal Basic Income Support program, which entails providing ₹5,000 monthly assistance to impoverished families in Andhra Pradesh. This initiative, as articulated by Kharge, represents the Congress party's unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Kharge expressed this assurance in a post on X, emphasizing that the income support scheme serves as a steadfast pledge from the Congress party to the residents of Andhra Pradesh. He underscored the party's dedication to delivering on its promises, contrasting it with what he described as the hollow assurances of "Modi Ki Guarantee."

During his address at the Nyay Sadhana Sabha in Ananthapuram, Kharge critiqued Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, questioning the fulfillment of his promises such as the famed "15 lakhs in bank accounts" pledge, the doubling of farmers' incomes, and the creation of 2 crore jobs. Kharge juxtaposed Modi's purported focus on the interests of crony capitalists and affluent individuals with the Congress party's advocacy for the welfare of marginalized sections, small traders, farmers, and laborers.

Kharge rallied the audience to unite against what he characterized as "fascist forces" and the autocratic tendencies of the Modi government. He asserted that Modi's repeated attacks on the Congress party and its leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, stemmed from his apprehension toward their influence and the principles they represent. According to Kharge, defeating such forces is essential to safeguarding democracy, constitutional rights, and the welfare of the people.
