In Bijapur, members of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces were fatally hacked by Naxals

According to police reports, a member of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) lost his life on Saturday following an assault by Naxals while he was engaged in patrolling activities at a market situated in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh. The deceased, identified as company commander Tijau Ram Bhuarya, was leading a team of CAF personnel at the time of the incident.

Police sources indicate that the assailants attacked Tijau Ram Bhuarya using an axe during the incident, which occurred around 9:30 am within a village under the jurisdiction of Kutru police station. The CAF team, deployed in the village market for security purposes, was conducting a routine patrol when the attack took place.
