Joining her brother Rahul Gandhi for the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh is Priyanka Gandhi

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, spearheaded by Rahul Gandhi, recommenced its journey from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, with the notable presence of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who joined her brother for the yatra's final stretch within the state.

Accompanying Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is slated to traverse through Amroha, Sambhal, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, and Agra, culminating at Fatehpur Sikri on Sunday, as per the Congress party's itinerary.

As the yatra made its way through various locales of Moradabad, enthusiastic supporters enthusiastically cheered the Congress leaders, chanting slogans such as 'Rahul Gandhi Zindabad', 'Priyanka Gandhi Zindabad', and 'Congress party Zindabad'. The duo reciprocated the warm reception by waving to the crowds from an open jeep.

Furthermore, the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled to join the Congress' yatra in Agra on the forthcoming Sunday, following the recent announcement of a seat-sharing agreement between the two parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Manish Hindvi, the spokesperson for the Uttar Pradesh Congress, conveyed, "The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra of Rahul Gandhi resumed from Moradabad. Party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present along with Rahul Gandhi. As the yatra moved through Moradabad, people from different walks of life greeted them. Both were seated in an open jeep."

Initially slated to partake in the yatra upon its entry into Uttar Pradesh in Chandauli, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's participation was postponed due to health concerns, which necessitated her hospitalization.

On Sunday, the yatra is scheduled to make a stopover at Rajasthan's Dholpur before its hiatus.

Moreover, the Congress announced a brief hiatus for the yatra from February 26 to March 1, allowing Rahul Gandhi to fulfill prior commitments, including delivering special lectures at Cambridge University and attending crucial meetings in Delhi. The yatra will resume from Dholpur on March 2, traversing into Madhya Pradesh, covering districts like Morena, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Shajapur, and Ujjain, among others.

Notably, on March 5, Rahul Gandhi is slated to pay his respects at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, which he had previously visited during his Bharat Jodo Yatra on November 29, 2022.
