Leader refutes claim that son of Tamil Nadu MP's car was vandalized due to rash driving

A group of individuals vandalized a vehicle associated with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Girirajan's son, alleging that his purported reckless driving caused an accident. The incident unfolded as Girirajan's son, Senthamizh, accompanied by his peers, embarked on a journey to Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. Near Thirukazhukundram, their passage was obstructed by a group of men who asserted that the MP's son had been operating the vehicle in a reckless manner while allegedly under the influence of alcohol, resulting in a collision with a motorcyclist.

Amidst the tumultuous encounter, a video has emerged capturing Senthamizhan, and his companions engaged in a contentious exchange with officials from the Chengalpattu Police Department. Concurrently, Girirajan, serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, refuted the allegations vehemently, offering a contrasting narrative to the events in question. According to the DMK luminary, his son, currently in the final phase of his legal studies, had embarked on a visit to a temple situated in Mahabalipuram.

Girirajan proceeded to delineate an alternative sequence of events, positing that a motorcyclist attempted to overtake his son's vehicle and subsequently experienced a minor collision. In response to this altercation, the aggrieved bikers purportedly resorted to hurling projectiles at the car, causing damage to its rear windshield.

Asserting that the matter was promptly addressed and resolved through amicable means, Girirajan sought to dispel any lingering doubts regarding the veracity of the allegations levelled against his son. The episode, emblematic of the complexities inherent in navigating contentious situations, underscores the imperative of discerning fact from fiction amidst the cacophony of conflicting narratives.
