Rivals or friends? Anant Ambani discusses his relationship with his elder siblings

In an exclusive conversation with India Today's News Director, Rahul Kanwal, Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries, delved into his family dynamics, providing nuanced insights into his relationships with his siblings, his father Mukesh Ambani, and the immense legacy he shoulders.

Sharing about his bond with siblings Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani, Anant expressed reverence, referring to them as his 'advisors' rather than competitors. He described himself as their Hanuman, expressing a desire to heed their counsel throughout his life.

Reflecting on the harmony within his family, Anant expressed confidence that he won't experience the rift that plagued the earlier generation of Ambanis. He emphasized the profound love and unity shared among him and his siblings, portraying them as pillars of support and protection.

Addressing comparisons to his illustrious grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, Anant humbly accepted the compliment but noted that he sees himself as merely following in his grandfather's footsteps, driven by a sense of duty to uphold a rich legacy and contribute to the nation.

When asked about the pressure of belonging to the Ambani dynasty, Anant brushed it off with a smile, asserting his belief in following his heart and leaving his destiny to divine will. He acknowledged his father Mukesh Ambani's guidance as instrumental in his growth, portraying him more as a friend than a stern authority figure.

As preparations for his upcoming wedding to Radhika Merchant in July are underway, Anant Ambani and his family are gearing up for a lavish three-day celebration in Jamnagar. The event promises to be a star-studded affair, with Bollywood celebrities, sports icons, and business magnates adding to the festive ambiance.
