A depressed candidate for a government job in Uttar Pradesh kills himself

According to police reports, a 22-year-old woman took her own life by hanging herself at her residence in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad on Saturday.

The deceased, identified as Varsha, was not only a student but also an active NCC cadet. She had been diligently preparing for the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam and concurrently studying for the SSC exam in pursuit of a government position.

Varsha's relatives divulged that she had been grappling with despondency stemming from her repeated unsuccessful attempts to secure a government job, exacerbated by the recurring instances of paper leaks in the UP constable and RO/ARO exams.

The relentless cycle of exam cancellations due to paper leakages eventually drove her to take drastic measures, as revealed by her brother Prashant Kumar during the investigation.

Furthermore, authorities discovered a suicide note at the scene, wherein Varsha expressed her anguish over her inability to land a government job despite her persistent endeavors.
