A seat-sharing agreement is finalized between the BJP, Jana Sena, and Chandrababu Naidu's TDP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party have officially declared their alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

In a joint statement issued by BJP's JP Nadda, Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan, it was announced that the three parties have agreed to contest the elections together. They also mentioned that the specifics of seat allocation will be discussed and decided upon within the next couple of days.

Chandrababu Naidu, speaking to India Today TV, elaborated that the process of identifying the individual constituencies for each party will unfold gradually, with the final allocation expected to be disclosed shortly.

Furthermore, there are talks of a potential massive rally featuring Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi later this month, indicating further collaboration between the TDP and BJP.

The agreement between the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena was solidified late on Friday, following a meeting involving Naidu, Nadda, Kalyan, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which took place at Shah's residence on Thursday evening and lasted for more than ninety minutes.

Regarding the distribution of seats, it is anticipated that the Jana Sena and BJP will receive approximately eight out of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, for the simultaneous Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, the two parties are expected to contest around 30 out of the 175 seats, with the remaining 145 seats being allocated to the TDP.
