At Gujarat University, a crowd attacks international students and damages their dorm room

Unidentified assailants launched an attack on foreign students at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, also vandalizing a hostel room and engaging in sloganeering and stone-throwing. The incident, which occurred on Saturday night within the university premises, left some students injured, who have since been admitted to SVP Hospital in Ahmedabad. Currently, all gates leading to the university have been closed as the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

A video capturing the incident has emerged, depicting a group pelting stones at the hostel and chanting slogans. The individual recording the video expressed outrage, labeling the attack as unacceptable.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the assault, questioning whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah would intervene, considering the incident unfolded in their home state of Gujarat. In a social media post, Owaisi criticized the apparent rise in anti-Muslim sentiment, urging for strong action to address the issue and preserve India's reputation.
