The commencement of the three-day grand pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani, the younger scion of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant was marked on Friday. Reliance Industries chairman, Mukesh Ambani, was visibly moved as his son, Anant Ambani, candidly addressed the gathering about his health challenges during the event held in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Expressing his gratitude towards his parents for their unwavering support, Anant Ambani opened up about the adversities he faced due to health issues during his childhood. Mukesh Ambani, visibly moved by his son's speech, was seen shedding tears of emotion.
Anant acknowledged the efforts of his family in making him feel cherished despite the hurdles he encountered, stating, "My family has gone above and beyond to make me feel special. Although my life hasn't been devoid of challenges, with thorns occasionally piercing through the roses, I have experienced health struggles since childhood. However, my parents have consistently provided unwavering support, standing by me every step of the way."
The pre-wedding festivities commenced earlier in the week with a communal feast, wherein thousands of individuals from nearby villages were graciously hosted, indulging in an array of sumptuous Gujarati delicacies.
The main event, spanning three days, boasts a distinguished guest list of over 1,000 attendees, including some of the world's wealthiest individuals. Esteemed personalities such as Bill Gates, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, as well as leading figures from Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, are among the notable invitees.
Adding to the allure of the occasion, renowned pop sensation Rihanna graced the event, delivering her maiden performance in India.
