Before the polls, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, Those who declined Ram Temple invite

Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party on Sunday, suggesting that those who declined the invitation to participate in the Ram Temple's idol consecration ceremony in Ayodhya would face rejection from the electorate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at a BJP workers’ convention held in Rewa and Satna, Maurya highlighted the reluctance of several opposition parties to attend the ceremony, which occurred on January 22 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The leaders and parties that opted out of the Ram Temple's idol consecration event will encounter disapproval from the public in the imminent Lok Sabha polls," Maurya asserted, underscoring the role of both the citizens and the BJP in the establishment of the grand temple.

Maurya emphasized the populace's satisfaction with the Prime Minister's initiatives, particularly his restoration of Ayodhya's glory after five centuries, the abrogation of Article 370, and the implementation of extensive welfare schemes benefiting all segments of society.

Expressing confidence in the BJP's electoral prospects, Maurya predicted that the party would secure more than 370 seats in the upcoming general elections.

Furthermore, Maurya lauded the Prime Minister's effective crackdown on corruption through the introduction of direct benefit transfer (DBT) schemes.
