ED questions Arvind Kejriwal, and his team gets ready to go to the Supreme Court

An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has arrived at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to serve him summons in connection with the Delhi excise policy case. Currently, the probe agency is recording the statement of the Chief Minister under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Kejriwal's legal team is preparing to seek an urgent hearing in the Supreme Court on the matter, with preparations underway to present all necessary documents tomorrow.

The team of the federal probe agency, accompanied by Delhi Police personnel, reached Kejriwal's official residence in the Civil Lines area earlier today. This development follows the Delhi High Court's denial of interim relief to Kejriwal regarding the ED summonses issued in the liquor policy case.

Security has been heightened outside Kejriwal's residence as AAP supporters gathered to protest against the ED's actions. Barricades have been set up around the Chief Minister's residence in response to the demonstration.

ED officials have served the 10th summons to Kejriwal in connection with an excise policy-linked money laundering case and have reportedly confiscated the phones of Kejriwal and his family members. His legal team, led by senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi, is gearing up to challenge the High Court's decision in the Supreme Court tomorrow.

Section 144 has been imposed outside Kejriwal's house, restricting gatherings, while a similar section is in place outside the Enforcement Directorate headquarters on Akbar Road. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has alleged that ED officials are preventing anyone from entering Kejriwal's residence and suggested that there might be preparations to arrest the Chief Minister. Despite the potential arrest, AAP maintains that Kejriwal's ideas cannot be restrained, as they are cherished by the people.
