Election-bonds and the 'white collar corruption' of the BJP: MK Stalin addresses a rally in Mumbai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin criticized the ruling BJP, describing electoral bonds as a form of "white-collar corruption." Speaking at the INDIA bloc's rally in Mumbai's Shivaji Park, Stalin emphasized the need for a secular, federal, and inclusive government at the Centre, led by the opposition alliance.

Stalin accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of prioritizing foreign trips and fake propaganda over genuine governance. He highlighted the opposition's unity under the banner of INDIA, suggesting that the BJP's avoidance of the term 'India' reflects their apprehension.

Asserting that electoral bonds exposed the BJP's corruption, Stalin condemned the party's attempts to label the opposition as corrupt. He endorsed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra as an effort to understand the country's sentiments, which he claimed have been neglected by the BJP.

Stalin portrayed the BJP as the biggest threat to India and emphasized the need to defeat them. He expressed confidence that the INDIA bloc, which initiated its journey in Kanyakumari, will succeed in securing power in Delhi and forming a government that prioritizes secularism, federalism, and inclusivity.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah echoed Stalin's sentiments, emphasizing the unity of the INDIA bloc partners in their mission to save the country.

AAP leader and Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj emphasized the importance of fearlessly fighting for victory, asserting that the exposure of electoral bonds has tarnished the BJP's image. He stressed the need to raise public awareness about this issue.
