"Enemy of India, mankind": MK Stalin criticizes the BJP before the elections

Days before the Lok Sabha polls, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK chief MK Stalin launched a scathing attack on the BJP, branding it "an enemy of India and humankind."

In a letter written to party cadres explaining the recently released party manifesto and seeking support for the 21 DMK candidates, MK Stalin expressed strong condemnation towards the BJP. He described the BJP as not only political adversaries but also as enemies of India, its Constitution, unity, integrity, pluralism, secularism, and federalism. He characterized them as enemies of mankind, reflecting the severity of his criticism.

Stalin accused the BJP of resorting to portraying Tamil people as terrorists, attributing it to their realization that the people of Tamil Nadu support the DMK-led alliance. He criticized the BJP's campaign tactics, stating that they were resorting to lies and deflection instead of addressing their own shortcomings and contributions to Tamil Nadu's development over the past decade.

On Wednesday, MK Stalin released the DMK's manifesto, which includes promises such as statehood for Puducherry, a ban on NEET exams, and granting the chief minister the power to appoint the Governor, among others. He also commended his sister, Kanimozhi, for her role in drafting the manifesto.

Additionally, the DMK announced its list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, signaling its readiness to contest and challenge the BJP and its allies in Tamil Nadu.
