In Bihar's Buxar district, a distressing incident unfolded when a woman took drastic action against her 25-year-old boyfriend, slashing his genitals before abandoning him on the road outside her residence under the mistaken belief that he had succumbed to the attack. However, contrary to her expectations, the victim, identified as Anil Gond, managed to survive the grievous assault, albeit with critical injuries, and is currently receiving medical treatment.
Law enforcement authorities have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the brutal assault, seeking to ascertain the motivations behind the woman's actions. According to statements provided by the victim's brother, Pramod Kumar Chaudhary, Anil had ventured to his girlfriend's residence in Dumraon following her summons via phone communication.
Upon Anil's arrival at her abode, the woman purportedly launched a vicious assault, severing his private parts before callously abandoning him on the roadway outside her dwelling. Despite enduring excruciating agony, the victim summoned the strength to seek medical assistance, eventually reaching a hospital where he notified his family members of the harrowing ordeal.
Presently, Anil remains hospitalized at the VK Global Hospital in Buxar, undergoing treatment for his grave injuries. Dumraon police officer Anisha Rana confirmed the initiation of investigative procedures, emphasizing the severity of the situation and condemning the barbaric nature of the attack.
Detailing the victim's medical condition, Officer Rana revealed that Anil underwent a surgical procedure and is presently under close observation. She condemned the assailant's actions as reprehensible, highlighting the sheer brutality and callousness exhibited in perpetrating such a heinous act.
