Indian-Americans in the US observe "havan" in order to pray for PM Modi to win the election

Indian-American technology professionals from Silicon Valley recently organized a special 'havan' at a Hindu temple to pray for the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The event, organized by the Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP), USA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter, attracted a large number of attendees. According to a media release, the 'havan' was not just a ritual but a collective invocation for the fulfillment of the wishes of the majority of Indians and NRIs.

Participants at the 'havan' prayed for a decisive victory for the ruling BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi in the upcoming parliamentary elections, echoing the popular sentiment of "Abki Baar, 400 Paar" (This time, crossing 400 seats), as emphasized by the OFBJP.

The event symbolized the deep-rooted faith in the democratic process and the aspirations for continued progress and governance reforms in India, as stated by the OFBJP. Prime Minister Modi has set a target for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to win more than 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, with 370-plus seats for the BJP alone.
