"It's fine," says Chandrababu Naidu in support of the BJP's execution of the CAA

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has lent his support to the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) decision to implement the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), stating that there is no inherent issue with enacting such legislation.

In his remarks, Naidu emphasized the sovereignty of nations to formulate their own citizenship laws, implying that the implementation of the CAA is a prerogative of the Indian government.

Moreover, Naidu took the opportunity to criticize the ruling YSRCP government in Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, for alleged irregularities in the evaluation process of Group-1 answer sheets. He accused the Chief Minister of being complicit in these irregularities and called for a thorough investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to uncover the truth behind these allegations.

Naidu condemned the purported deceptive practices employed by the YSRCP government, including both digital and manual evaluation methods, which he claimed were utilized to appoint individuals favorable to the ruling party to prestigious Group-1 positions at inflated costs.

Expressing deep concern over the scarcity of employment opportunities in the state, Naidu stressed the urgency for swift action to address this issue, indicating the pressing need for job creation initiatives.
