Office said Kate Middleton is doing fine and denounces rumors of her absence

Kate Middleton's spokesperson has categorically denied any rumors suggesting her disappearance following the abdominal surgery she underwent in January. The Princess of Wales, aged 42, was last seen in public on Christmas Day when she attended church alongside the royal family.

Speculation about her absence gained momentum this week when Prince William was notably absent from a memorial service for his godfather, the late King Constantine of Greece, citing a personal matter, as reported by NBC News.

Subsequently, social media platforms witnessed a surge in discussions, memes, and theories about Kate Middleton's whereabouts. However, her representatives have intervened to dispel these rumors, assuring the public that she is "doing well".

"Kensington Palace communicated the timeline of the princess' recovery in January, and significant updates will only be provided as deemed necessary," stated her representative to The New York Post, affirming the palace's stance.

In a statement released on January 17, Kensington Palace outlined that Kate Middleton is not expected to resume public engagements until after Easter, allowing her ample time to recuperate from the surgery.

Earlier this month, a Spanish media outlet published a report claiming that Kate Middleton's health was in jeopardy, suggesting she had slipped into a coma. However, a source from Kensington Palace dismissed these claims as "total nonsense" and "fabricated".

On January 16, the Princess of Wales underwent scheduled abdominal surgery at The London Clinic. Although the specific nature of her condition was not disclosed, it is believed to be non-cancerous, as per reports from people.com.

Kate Middleton returned to her residence in Windsor on January 26 and continues to focus on her recovery.

The palace emphasized Kate Middleton's desire for privacy regarding her medical details, stating that updates on her health will only be shared when there are significant developments.

"The Princess of Wales expresses regret for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of her upcoming engagements and looks forward to rescheduling them as soon as feasible," the palace concluded in its statement.
