Pilot hurt in trainer plane crash in Guna, Madhya Pradesh



A trainer aircraft encountered a mishap during its journey from Neemuch to Dhana, resulting in an emergency landing attempt in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna region. The aircraft, identified as a Cessna 172 belonging to Chimes Aviation Academy based in Dhana, experienced a malfunction mid-flight, prompting the pilot to initiate an emergency landing procedure. Unfortunately, during the landing maneuver, the aircraft lost control, leading to a crash into nearby bushes. The impact caused the aircraft to overturn, resulting in substantial damage, including petrol leakage.

The trainee pilot onboard sustained injuries as a consequence of the accident and has subsequently been hospitalized for medical treatment. Guna Sub Inspector Chanchal Tiwari provided details of the incident, indicating that despite the severity of the crash, the pilot managed to avert serious injuries.

Currently, law enforcement personnel are present at the crash site, overseeing the situation and ensuring necessary measures are taken to manage the aftermath of the incident.
