Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the stage at a grand gathering in West Bengal's Arambagh on Friday, directing his fervent criticism towards the Trinamool Congress (TMC) regarding the tumultuous events in Sandeshkhali.
Addressing the rally amidst the vibrant ambiance of Arambagh town situated in Hooghly district, PM Modi seized the opportunity to denounce the alleged transgressions perpetrated by the West Bengal government, particularly highlighting instances of purported atrocities against women and instances of land usurpation in Sandeshkhali. Furthermore, he castigated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her conspicuous silence on the matter.

He remarked, "The ongoing scenario in West Bengal has garnered national attention. The reprehensible actions of the Trinamool in Sandeshkhali, masquerading under the banner of 'Ma, Maati, Manush' (Mother, Land, People), have ignited widespread indignation and fury throughout the country."
He continued, "The audacity exhibited by the TMC leadership towards the women and daughters of Sandeshkhali has crossed all conceivable bounds. Regrettably, when the distressed sisters of Sandeshkhali sought assistance from Mamata Didi, the Bengal administration opted to shield the wrongdoers instead. Only due to relentless pressure from the BJP did the Bengal Police eventually apprehend the accused yesterday."
PM Modi further criticized, "The Trinamool, ensnared in a web of corruption, nepotism, and appeasement, thrives solely on such practices. This seems to be their primary occupation. Trinamool has pioneered a novel model of criminality and malfeasance in Bengal."
He added, "Hoards of currency notes are being unearthed from the residences of TMC ministers. Moreover, the state government is employing every conceivable tactic to impede the investigations conducted by central agencies. The Chief Minister herself has resorted to strikes to shield the corrupt."
PM Modi also highlighted, "While the Centre continues to allocate funds to Bengal, the TMC government persistently fails to utilize them, imposing unwarranted hindrances."
