PM Modi built a mandir, which you may have heard about

After his participation in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the renowned Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued his temple visits, inaugurating the Kalki Dham Mandir in Uttar Pradesh and the BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. While these temples are widely known and celebrated, there is one that often goes unnoticed by many.

During his speech at the India Today Conclave 2024, PM Modi shed light on a different kind of temple that he felt deserved more recognition. This temple, he explained, was not the traditional kind that typically garners headlines, but rather a unique establishment focused on a distinct mission.

PM Modi introduced the concept of Aayushman Arogya Mandirs, emphasizing their significance in promoting the overarching goal of 'One Earth One Health'. These mandirs serve as wellness centers, offering modern healthcare amenities to rural communities. PM Modi highlighted that individuals can receive healthcare services worth up to Rs 5 lakh free of charge at these facilities.

With a touch of humor, PM Modi addressed those who may raise eyebrows at his affinity for temples, asserting that their reservations were their own concern, not his. He then delved into the substantial impact of the Aayushman Arogya Mandirs, which aim to provide comprehensive healthcare services encompassing preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative care.

PM Modi revealed that over 1.5 lakh Aayushman Arogya Mandirs have been established across Indian villages, a testament to the government's unwavering commitment to public health. These mandirs conduct essential medical tests, including those for diabetes and cancer, in addition to offering basic pathological examinations.

Furthermore, PM Modi highlighted the integration of these mandirs into a digital network, facilitating seamless healthcare delivery to rural populations. Through initiatives like Telemedicine and the e-sanjivini app, millions of consultations have been conducted, marking a significant milestone in India's healthcare revolution.

In essence, while the grandeur of traditional temples captures attention, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir represents a vital pillar of India's healthcare infrastructure, silently driving positive change in rural communities across the country.
