Raghav Chadha of the AAP will have eye surgery in the UK

Raghav Chadha, a prominent figure in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, is set to undergo vitrectomy surgery in the United Kingdom. This surgical procedure aims to prevent the detachment of the retina in his eye. Sources close to the situation revealed to India Today TV that the 35-year-old leader's eye condition necessitates immediate medical intervention to address the formation of small holes in the retina, which pose a serious threat to his eyesight.

Retinal detachment, a condition characterized by the separation of the delicate tissue at the back of the eye from its usual position, can lead to vision loss if left untreated. The progression of these small holes can be rapid, potentially resulting in significant impairment or even blindness. Fortunately, Chadha's current eye condition remains stable, with no reported loss of vision.

It has been advised that Chadha undergoes this critical surgery under the care of a senior specialist in the United Kingdom, ensuring the highest standard of medical attention and expertise.
