Revanth Reddy referred to the PM as his "big brother" and Telangana as the Gujarat model

Telangana's Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, recently admired Prime Minister Narendra Modi, affectionately referring to him as "big brother." Reddy emphasized that for Telangana to prosper, it must emulate the development model pioneered in Gujarat. Additionally, Reddy conveyed his willingness to collaborate with the central government, seeking PM Modi's assistance in advancing Telangana's progress.

During a recent statement on Monday, Reddy underscored his intention not to oppose the central government, instead seeking PM Modi's backing to foster Telangana's growth. He echoed aspirations to contribute to PM Modi's vision of achieving a five trillion-dollar economy, affirming Hyderabad and Telangana's commitment to partnering with the Centre in national development endeavors. Furthermore, he appealed for financial support for Telangana's metro rail project.

PM Modi, currently touring Telangana in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, inaugurated many development initiatives worth upwards of Rs 56,000 crore in Adilabad. In his address to the gathered audience, PM Modi reiterated his inclusive vision: "The country's 140 crore population is my family."

Highlighting the Bharatiya Janata Party's dedication to national progress, PM Modi resonated with the sentiment of Telangana's populace, proclaiming, "This time, it's beyond 400," about the upcoming elections.
