In a harrowing incident captured on CCTV, a 32-year-old man tragically lost his life after being shot in the head and subsequently assaulted with a knife by unidentified assailants at a dining establishment near Pune, Maharashtra.

In the chilling footage, the victim, identified as Avinash Dhanve, is observed seated alongside three companions within the confines of Hotel Jagdamba, situated along the Pune-Solapur National Highway in Indapur. As the group engages in conversation, two unknown individuals make an ominous entrance into the establishment, with one of them clandestinely retrieving a firearm from a bag.
Tragically, Dhanve is mercilessly shot in the head by one of the perpetrators, causing him to collapse to the ground in a grave turn of events. Shockingly, his companions hastily flee the scene in the wake of the shooting.
Subsequently, a group comprising five to six individuals arrives at the scene in a vehicle, hastily converging upon the restaurant. Displaying utter disregard for human life, they proceed to assail Dhanve with a knife before promptly absconding from the vicinity.
