Son of former AIADMK chief makes a suggestion about joining the party of actor Vijay

OP Ravindranath, the son of former AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam, has indicated his willingness to join actor Vijay's political party if it works towards the betterment of Tamil Nadu. Ravindranath expressed his admiration for Vijay's public service initiatives and suggested that joining Vijay's party could be a positive step for the people of Tamil Nadu.

Actor Vijay recently announced the formation of his political party, 'Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam', with a focus on public welfare. While Vijay clarified that his party would not contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Ravindranath's remarks imply a potential future collaboration.

Ravindranath also criticized AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami for allegedly fielding "shadow candidates" against his father in the Ramanathapuram Lok Sabha constituency. Despite facing multiple candidates with similar names contesting from the same constituency, Ravindranath expressed confidence in his father's victory and predicted success for TTV Dhinakaran, whose party AMMK is allied with the BJP-led NDA, in the Theni constituency.

Accusing Palaniswami and his associates of undermining democracy, Ravindranath condemned the tactic of fielding multiple candidates with similar names to confuse voters.
