Expressing grave concerns over the blurred boundaries between politics and religion, Vijayan condemned the exploitation of religious sentiments for political gain. He cautioned against the dangerous consequences of such divisive tactics, warning of their potential to undermine the rich tapestry of diversity in India. Moreover, he underscored the imperative of ensuring equitable progress for all segments of society, particularly minorities who often find themselves marginalized.
In response to these apprehensions, Vijayan highlighted Kerala's proactive efforts to safeguard the rights and interests of all residents, fostering an inclusive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can thrive without fear or discrimination.
