The prime minister hasn't taken a vacation in 23 years; Amit Shah is the best policymaker

Speaking at the India Global Forum Annual Investment Summit in Mumbai, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lavished praise upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hailing him as the epitome of effective policy-making and leadership. Shah underscored the significance of the upcoming elections in shaping India's trajectory for the next twenty-five years, highlighting several key accomplishments achieved under PM Modi’s stewardship, notably including the implementation of demonetization.

Delving into the unparalleled work ethic of PM Modi, Shah remarked, "PM Modi has not taken a single holiday in the past 23 years. We didn't just want a visionary PM; we've been bestowed with a PM capable of ushering in a new era."

Amit Shah's address lauded the transformative governance witnessed over the last decade under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, emphasizing the remarkable transition from economic adversity to a resilient and self-sustaining nation.

Expressing confidence in the continuation of this trajectory over the next decade, Shah referenced a parliamentary resolution aimed at positioning India among the top three global economies by 2047, with a concerted 25-year roadmap in place. This, he asserted, forms the basis of the electoral agenda.

He recounted the challenges faced by India in 2014, highlighting rampant corruption, fiscal instability, and security concerns, before PM Modi assumed office. Shah credited the Prime Minister with steering the nation away from these predicaments, heralding an era characterized by economic rejuvenation and efficient governance.

The Home Minister delineated a series of transformative measures implemented under PM Modi's leadership, including demonetization in 2016, the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in 2017, and significant strides in tackling non-performing assets (NPA) and bolstering the digital infrastructure. Shah also cited bold decisions such as surgical and airstrikes, unequivocally affirming India's stance on national security.

Furthermore, Shah highlighted key socio-political reforms enacted during PM Modi's tenure, such as the abolition of triple talaq and the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the government's commitment to progressive governance.

Drawing a sharp contrast with the governance of previous administrations, Shah asserted that PM Modi's tenure has witnessed a plethora of monumental decisions that have reshaped the nation's trajectory, reflecting the unwavering resolve and decisive governance exhibited by the Prime Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
