Watch: Pushkar Dhami confronts officials over a man's complaint about an electrical bill



Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had a phone conversation with a complainant who raised concerns about receiving consistently high electricity bills over the past three months.

In a video released by the chief minister's office on X day, Dhami can be seen instructing officials present at the CM Helpline 1905 review meeting to address the complaint and take action against those responsible for not resolving the issue.

The complainant, identified as Ashok, informed the Chief Minister that despite filing a complaint three months ago regarding the high electricity bills, no action had been taken thus far.

Dhami inquired if Ashok had received any response to his complaint, to which Ashok mentioned that he received a call from the sub-divisional officer (SDO) a week after filing the complaint. The SDO advised him to install a check meter to monitor electricity consumption.

Considering the issue as "serious", the Chief Minister directed the officials present to promptly address the matter and take appropriate action against the responsible officials.
