What Elvish Yadav stated once the video of him attacking a YouTuber went viral

Social media personality and victor of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, has offered his perspective on the widely circulated video depicting him and his associates engaging in a physical altercation with YouTuber Sagar Thakur at a clothing store in Delhi.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Yadav shared his version of events, expressing, "First plan and play the victim. My side of the story which everyone should know. Ram Ram."

In a video posted on Instagram, Elvish Yadav alleged that Sagar Thakur had threatened him and his family with grave harm. Yadav claimed that Thakur had uttered threatening words, including, "Tujhe aur tere gharwale ko zinda jala dunga" (I will burn you and your family members alive), prompting Yadav to react strongly. He posed a rhetorical question to his followers, questioning how they would respond if faced with similar threats against their families.

While Yadav did not deny the physical altercation, he asserted that Thakur had made prior arrangements at the clothing store, including setting up cameras to record the incident and wearing a microphone, as evidenced in the viral video.

Providing his account of the events leading up to the altercation, Yadav alleged that Thakur had been consistently trolling him for the past eight months. Yadav claimed that he had attempted to address the issue by inviting Thakur for a discussion to understand the reasons behind the trolling.

Yadav further alleged that Thakur had suggested meeting at the clothing store instead of Yadav's office. Despite reservations, Yadav claimed to have agreed to the proposal, intending to resolve the matter peacefully.

In response to Thakur's accusations of attempted murder and police bias, Yadav emphasized the need for both sides of the story to be heard, expressing concern over the public's rush to judgment based on incomplete information.

The altercation between Yadav and Thakur stemmed from a social media spat, during which Thakur had criticized Yadav for associating with Munawar Faruqui, a former Bigg Boss winner who had faced controversy over remarks about Hindu deities.

Following their meeting in Gurugram, Thakur alleged that he had been assaulted by Yadav and several others, leading to a viral video depicting the altercation at the clothing store.
