Who was the Kerala man Pat Nibin Maxwell who was murdered by an Israeli missile attack

Pat Nibin Maxwell, a 31-year-old native of Kerala's Kollam district in India, tragically lost his life in Israel as a result of a missile attack launched by Hezbollah militants from Lebanon. The devastating incident occurred near the northern border community of Margaliot, where Maxwell, along with other agricultural workers, was working on a farm at the time of the attack. Regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind his grieving wife, who is seven months pregnant, and their five-year-old daughter.

The heart-wrenching news was conveyed to Maxwell's family members, including his father Pathrose Maxwell, who recounted receiving a distressing call from his daughter-in-law informing him of his son's accident. The initial communication suggested that Pat Nibin had been injured, but tragically, the subsequent updates revealed his untimely demise. Pathrose Maxwell, struggling to comprehend the loss, shared his anguish with reporters outside his home, emphasizing the shock and sorrow felt by the entire family.

Additionally, it was revealed that two other individuals from Kerala, Bush-Joseph George, and Paul Melvin, were also injured in the same attack and were currently undergoing medical treatment. The Embassy of Israel in New Delhi expressed profound sorrow over the death of Pat Nibin Maxwell and the injuries sustained by the others, denouncing the cowardly act of terrorism perpetrated by Hezbollah.

The ongoing tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, which have escalated since October 8, have resulted in numerous casualties on both sides, including civilians and military personnel. Hezbollah's relentless attacks on Israeli communities, purportedly in solidarity with Gaza, have led to a devastating loss of lives and heightened tensions in the region. Despite the tragic loss of Pat Nibin Maxwell and the ongoing conflict, Israeli medical institutions have pledged their unwavering support in providing the best possible care to the injured victims of these senseless acts of violence.
