A man is fatally stabbed by a Nagpur woman and her pals over a dispute over smoking



A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Nagpur, resulting in the unfortunate demise of a man amid a dispute at a local pan shop. Authorities reported that a man was fatally stabbed during an altercation that erupted after a woman blew smoke from her cigarette onto the face of a young man.

The incident occurred late Saturday night in the Mahalaxmi Nagar area of Nagpur. Allegedly, Jayashree Panjhade, accompanied by her friend Savita Sayre, was smoking outside a pan shop when the confrontation ensued.

According to officials, Jayashree's action of blowing smoke onto the face of the youth, identified as Ranjit Rathode, sparked a heated argument between them. The situation escalated when Ranjit began recording a video of the altercation, during which Jayashree can be heard verbally abusing him while blowing smoke in his direction.

Subsequently, Jayashree summoned her friends Akash Raut and Yashwant Sayare to the scene. Upon their arrival, Akash engaged in a confrontation with Ranjit, ultimately leading to a fatal stabbing.

Following the incident, law enforcement authorities apprehended Jayashree Panzhare, Yashwant Sayare, Akash Raut, and Savita based on video evidence captured on a mobile phone.

The investigation into this tragic occurrence is ongoing as authorities seek to ascertain further details surrounding the circumstances of the altercation and subsequent violence.
