Actor Gurucharan Singh, who went missing and was due to get married, was last seen in Delhi

Investigations into the disappearance of renowned actor Gurucharan Singh celebrated for his portrayal in the beloved television series 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', have unveiled intriguing details. Contrary to initial assumptions, Singh, who vanished from public view on April 22, was found to have never embarked on a flight bound for Mumbai as speculated. Instead, clues suggest he remained within the confines of Delhi, his intended journey to Mumbai abandoned. Complicating matters further, it emerged that the actor was on the brink of entering into matrimony, a significant life event overshadowed by the looming specter of financial struggles.

His departure from home, ostensibly bound for the airport, was intercepted by an unanticipated detour, an enigma that deepened as the investigation unfolded. Surveillance footage captured Singh, recognizable as the affable Roshan Singh Sodhi from the television screens, traversing the streets of Delhi with a backpack in tow, a solitary figure amidst the bustling urban landscape.

Further scrutiny of Singh's movements revealed a withdrawal of funds amounting to approximately Rs 7,000 from an ATM in Delhi, corroborated by surveillance footage documenting the transaction. Digital breadcrumbs left by his mobile phone activity painted a partial picture, indicating his presence in Delhi until April 24, after which all electronic trails grew cold with the abrupt cessation of his device's signal.

The trail of clues led investigators to the vicinity of his residence in Palam, the last known whereabouts of the elusive actor. A crucial piece of evidence surfaced in the form of CCTV footage depicting Singh's presence at Parshuram Chowk in the Palam locality, timestamped April 22 at 9:14 pm, offering a fleeting glimpse into his movements before vanishing into the ether.

Concerned by his prolonged absence, Singh's family initiated official procedures by filing a missing person report on April 26, prompting law enforcement to escalate the matter by registering a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 365 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The narrative takes a poignant turn as Singh's family reveals his intended departure for Mumbai, scheduled for the early hours of April 22, casting a somber light on the events preceding his disappearance.
