In Tamil Nadu, "Scan to see scam" posters criticizing the BJP appear

Posters questioning the integrity of the BJP government at the Centre have emerged across various locations in Tamil Nadu, just days before the commencement of the Lok Sabha elections.

These posters, featuring the phrase "Ji PAY" along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's image and a QR code, prompt viewers to scan and uncover alleged scandals. Upon scanning, individuals are directed to a video presentation.

The video purportedly exposes what it claims are instances of corruption within the BJP administration, including allegations regarding electoral bonds, irregularities highlighted in the CAG report, and purported financial misconduct in infrastructure projects. Additionally, it alleges that the BJP government has forgiven loans worth lakhs of crores for major corporations.

The presentation concludes by urging voters to reject the BJP and lend their support to the INDIA bloc.

The posters have been attributed to DMK functionaries, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to commence from April 19 and conclude on June 1. Tamil Nadu is set to participate in a single-phase election on April 19, with 39 Lok Sabha seats up for grabs.
