Kangana Ranaut is like a frog and will vanish soon, according to Congressman Mandi Patel

In a recent exchange amidst the fervor of election campaigning, Congress's Vikramaditya Singh made scathing remarks likening actor-politician Kangana Ranaut to a transient frog and criticizing her attire. Singh, who is contesting for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, suggested that Ranaut's presence in the state was akin to a fleeting appearance, insinuating that she would soon vanish from the scene.

Singh's analogy likening Ranaut to a frog emerging during the rainy season implied that her involvement in the campaign was merely temporary and superficial. He further asserted that Ranaut's attire during campaigning resembled that of a film shoot, implying a lack of sincerity in her engagement with the electorate.

The comments by Singh, a scion of a prominent political family in Himachal Pradesh, highlight the intensifying competition in the electoral arena, with Ranaut emerging as a formidable opponent. Despite the critical tone of Singh's remarks, Ranaut has continued her campaign activities, recently meeting with Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama in Dharamshala before proceeding with her election campaign in the Bharmour area of Chamba district.

The Mandi Lok Sabha constituency is poised for a closely watched contest, with Ranaut challenging Singh, a minister in the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led government in Himachal Pradesh. The electoral showdown between the two figures underscores the significance of the seat and the contentious dynamics at play in the state's political landscape.
