LinkedIn has recently unveiled its latest rankings for the top companies to work for in India for the year 2024. The list not only showcases the top 25 large companies but also introduces a new category featuring the top 15 midsize companies.
These rankings are determined by eight key factors crucial for career growth. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) retains its position at the top among large companies, closely followed by Accenture and Cognizant.
The Financial Services sector dominates the top spots, featuring nine companies, including Macquarie Group, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Additionally, companies from the technology and pharmaceutical sectors are represented in the top 25.
In the midsize companies' category, the SaaS platform Lentra secures the top position, with notable mentions like MakeMyTrip, PRADAN, Nykaa, and Dream11.
LinkedIn's report sheds light on the most sought-after skills in various sectors. For instance, the financial sector prioritizes skills such as investor relations, capital markets, and investment banking, while the IT sector emphasizes expertise in enterprise software, data storage technologies, and artificial intelligence.
Moreover, the report highlights in-demand job functions, encompassing engineering, consulting, analyst roles, sales, operations, and finance.
Bengaluru emerges as the prime location for these companies, followed by Hyderabad, Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and Pune.
