My abductor from Hamas handed me a ring and promised me his children: released prisoner from Israel

Noga Weiss, an 18-year-old Israeli woman, endured a harrowing 50-day ordeal as a hostage in Gaza after being abducted from her home. During her captivity, she faced an unsettling proposition from one of her Hamas captors, who expressed a desire to marry her and start a family together. This captor went as far as giving her a ring and suggesting that she would remain in Gaza indefinitely to raise their children.

Despite feeling threatened and coerced, Noga pretended to comply with his wishes to avoid being harmed. Throughout her captivity, she was constantly moved between different locations, and forced to wear a hijab to conceal her identity as an Israeli hostage. The situation became even more distressing when Noga's mother was also kidnapped and taken to Gaza.

Despite the ordeal, mother and daughter were eventually reunited, providing a sense of relief amidst the constant fear and uncertainty. Reflecting on her experience, Noga described the intense fear she felt during her captivity, constantly worried about being harmed or killed by her captors. It was only upon her release and seeing soldiers in IDF uniform that she finally felt a sense of safety after enduring such a traumatic ordeal.
