One terrorist killed as the army thwarts an attempt to infiltrate Uri, Kashmir: Sources



The Indian Army successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, located in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district. According to Army sources, one terrorist was killed during the operation.

The Army launched search and cordon operations in the area following the encounter. The operation is ongoing, and additional security forces have been deployed to the site to ensure the situation remains under control.
