Past ten years have been a "appetiser," with the main meal to follow: At the Churu rally, PM Modi

During a rally in Churu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored that while his government has already delivered on promises made to the people, there is still much more to accomplish and dreams to realize. He described the work accomplished by his administration over the past decade as merely an "appetizer," indicating that significant achievements are yet to come.

PM Modi accused the Congress of disrespecting the Army and sowing divisions among people, branding this behavior as characteristic of the opposition party. He also asserted that India, under his leadership, now epitomizes a "new India," capable of retaliating within enemy territory, referring to recent counterstrikes against Pakistan following terrorist attacks.

Highlighting the challenging circumstances prevailing when the Congress was in power, PM Modi emphasized the economic downturn and tarnished global reputation attributed to large-scale scams. He contrasted this with the transformative changes his government has initiated since coming to power in 2014.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, PM Modi lauded India's resilience, asserting that the country emerged as the fifth-largest economy globally, despite initial apprehensions. He emphasized his proactive approach to leading the nation through crises, rejecting the option of resignation amidst adversity.

PM Modi cited examples of his government's commitments being fulfilled, such as providing affordable cylinders to the poor and initiating investigations into the Congress' alleged paper leak activities. He praised the BJP's commitment to delivering on promises outlined in its manifesto.

In a swipe at the Congress, PM Modi ridiculed their apparent discomfort with discussions concerning the Ayodhya Ram temple, suggesting they fear invoking Lord Ram's name. He accused the opposition bloc of prioritizing corruption protection over eradication and criticized their skepticism regarding India's military actions, alleging disrespect toward the armed forces.

Furthermore, PM Modi accused the Congress of prioritizing appeasement politics over national interests, particularly evident in their stance on the triple talaq law. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to serving all sections of society, including marginalized communities like Dalits and tribals.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and BJP candidate Devendra Jhajharia also addressed the gathering, echoing PM Modi's sentiments.
