Police in Rajasthan's Barmer district reported on Sunday that a woman had allegedly been subjected to a half-naked parade due to her involvement with a married man.
Reportedly, the incident occurred in Sarwadi village, and a video purportedly depicting the ordeal has circulated on various social media platforms.
Authorities indicated that the man's wife and relatives discovered his extramarital affair with the woman.
The video shows a woman dragging the victim, who is partially unclothed, by her hair as the victim pleads for mercy.
Kundan Kawaria, the Superintendent of Police in Barmer, stated that after filing a case at the Samdari police station, two women were apprehended, while the victim received counseling.
