Reaction of Rajnath Singh to the report on killings in Pakistan was ghar me ghus ke

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized that terrorists attempting to disrupt India's peace would face consequences, regardless of their location, even if they flee to Pakistan. His remarks came in response to a report in The Guardian alleging India's involvement in targeted killings in Pakistan.

Singh affirmed India's capability to respond effectively to any threat, stating that if terrorists seek refuge in Pakistan, India will pursue them there. He reiterated the government's commitment to maintaining good relations with neighboring countries, emphasizing that India has never initiated aggression against any nation.

The Defence Minister dismissed The Guardian's report as false and malicious propaganda, echoing the Ministry of External Affairs' denial of the allegations. He reiterated External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's statement that targeted killings abroad are not part of India's policy.

The report suggested that India's intelligence agency, RAW, conducted 20 targeted killings on foreign soil following the 2019 Pulwama terror attack. However, the Indian government has strongly refuted these claims, asserting that such actions do not align with India's principles of national security.
