Videos circulating online captured the harrowing scene, showing a man attacking the bishop with a knife, leading worshippers to intervene to protect him. Tragically, the assailant turned his aggression towards the worshippers, causing further injuries.
Despite the severity of the situation, the injured parties are reported to have sustained non-life-threatening wounds and are receiving medical care from paramedics, as stated in a police announcement quoted by the BBC.
