Terrorist slain in gun battle with security personnel in Pulwama, J&K

During an intense clash between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, one terrorist lost his life. The incident, which transpired in the Frasipora area during the early hours of Thursday, prompted the cordoning off of the vicinity.

The confrontation unfolded following intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists in the Muraan locality. Consequently, a brief but intense exchange of gunfire ensued.

The area was swiftly sealed off by paramilitary personnel and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, ensuring containment and control post the skirmish.

Further details regarding the incident are yet to be disclosed.

This encounter comes on the heels of another incident just a week prior, wherein the Indian Army thwarted an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, Baramulla district, resulting in the demise of a terrorist, according to sources within the Army.
