The "poisonous snake" jab Mamata Banerjee made at the BJP during a rally in Bengal

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee strongly criticized the BJP, alleging that the party was utilizing central investigative agencies and paramilitary forces for its political agenda. Speaking at a rally in Cooch Behar, Banerjee accused the BJP of violating the Model Code of Conduct and demanded intervention from the Election Commission to ensure fair play among all political parties.

She expressed distrust towards the BJP's initiatives like Awas Yojna enrollment, cautioning against their intentions to manipulate the system. Banerjee emphasized that her party, Trinamool Congress, would not succumb to pressure from probe agencies and urged the women of Cooch Behar to report instances of BSF mistreatment.

Banerjee accused central agencies such as NIA, Income Tax, BSF, and CISF of favoring the BJP, asserting that the BJP was flouting the Model Code of Conduct. She criticized the BJP's approach, alleging that they adhered to "one nation, one party" principles.

Pointing out the appointment of Union Minister Nisith Pramanik, previously expelled from Trinamool Congress, Banerjee criticized the BJP's choice, considering his legal troubles.

Banerjee reiterated her stance against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC), warning against their implementation in West Bengal. She labeled the BJP's portrayal of CAA as deceptive and accused them of misleading the public.

Banerjee also criticized the Opposition INDIA bloc partners, Congress and CPI(M), accusing them of aligning with the BJP in West Bengal. She urged voters not to support them if they aimed to defeat the BJP.

Additionally, Banerjee criticized the Indian Secular Front (ISF), likening it to AIMIM, and accused it of dividing minority votes to benefit the BJP. She urged voters to refrain from supporting Congress, CPI(M), and their allies if they wished to thwart the BJP's influence.
