Tribals in Telangana are fighting over a land issue, injuring five police officers

The situation in Telangana's Khammam district escalated into violence as clashes erupted between two tribal groups over a land dispute in the Chandrayapalem forest area. At least five police personnel were injured during the confrontation.

Upon receiving reports of the clashes, the police intervened in an attempt to defuse the situation. However, the situation quickly deteriorated, with the tribal groups turning on the police officers.

In a disturbing video of the incident, a group of tribals can be seen attacking a police officer dressed in civilian clothes. They forcibly remove him from his bike and assault him while a constable tries to intervene and protect him.

As a result of the altercation, one senior police officer and four constables sustained injuries. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have registered a case in connection with the clashes. The motive behind the land dispute and the factors contributing to the escalation of violence are under scrutiny as authorities work to restore peace in the area.
