Two people in Telangana were killed by a wild elephant, and a tusker search is in progress



At least two individuals tragically lost their lives in Telangana's Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district after a wild elephant ventured into agricultural fields.

The first incident occurred when the elephant entered an agricultural field in Chintala Manepally, located in Kouthala Mandal, on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the death of one person. Tragically, the following morning, another individual fell victim to the same tusker in Penchikalpet Mandal.

Forest officials have initiated an operation to capture the elephant, which remains at large at the time of reporting. Inspector Sadik Pasha from Kouthala Police confirmed the fatalities, stating that efforts are underway by the forest department to locate and secure the elephant.
