A abduction case led to the arrest of MLA HD Revanna from the residence of father Deve Gowda

Karnataka Janata Dal (Secular) MLA HD Revanna has been arrested by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Karnataka Police in connection with a kidnapping case. The arrest took place at the residence of his father, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

The allegations against HD Revanna involve the kidnapping of a woman, who was reportedly abducted by his associate from her home and held captive at Revanna's farmhouse. The woman was rescued by the Karnataka Police, leading to the initiation of the kidnapping case against the MLA.

The charges against HD Revanna include sections 364A (kidnap) and 365 (forceful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), with non-bailable sections invoked by the Karnataka Police.

In addition to the kidnapping case, HD Revanna and his son Prajwal Revanna are facing serious allegations of sexual assault and filming the act. Prajwal, who is also a politician, has flown abroad, prompting speculation and further investigation into the allegations. A lookout notice has been issued against both HD Revanna and Prajwal, with the CBI likely to seek a 'Blue Corner Notice' against Prajwal Revanna.

The arrest of HD Revanna underscores the gravity of the allegations and the ongoing investigation into the matter by law enforcement authorities.
