A politician from Rajasthan is threatened with death for forcing tribals to convert to Hinduism

A case has been registered against an unidentified individual for issuing death threats to Rajasthan cabinet minister Babulal Kharadi via his Instagram account. The threatening comment, posted three days prior, was noticed by Kharadi's son and brought to the attention of the minister, prompting immediate action from the police and district administration.

The comment, which warned of dire consequences and indicated a pre-election outcome, accused Kharadi, who oversees tribal area development, of coercing tribals into converting to Hinduism.

Upon discovering the comment, Kharadi and his son promptly reported the matter to the authorities. Law enforcement agencies are currently working diligently to trace the IP address associated with the threatening comment, with heightened vigilance and dedicated teams assigned to apprehend the culprit.

Security measures for Kharadi may be bolstered following a comprehensive threat assessment. This incident isn't isolated, as Kharadi had previously received a similar threat via WhatsApp.

In a parallel occurrence, Sheo MLA and independent candidate from the Barmer-Jaisalmer seat, Ravindra Singh Bhati, also faced a threat, resulting in the apprehension of a suspect by local law enforcement. Consequently, Bhati's security arrangements were reinforced as a precautionary measure.
