As anti-Pak demonstrations erupt in POK, Amit Shah declares, We will take it

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing a poll rally in West Bengal's Serampore, made a bold declaration regarding Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK), asserting that it belongs to India and vowed to reclaim it. Shah pointed to the recent protests in POK, contrasting them with the return of peace to Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019.

Highlighting the shift in the situation, Shah noted that while slogans of "Azaadi" were once heard in Kashmir, they are now resonating in POK. He underscored the need to take action in reclaiming POK as an integral part of India.

Shah criticized Congress leaders, particularly citing Mani Shankar Aiyar's remarks suggesting caution due to Pakistan's possession of nuclear weapons. Dismissing such apprehensions, Shah reiterated India's commitment to asserting its sovereignty over POK.

In his speech, Shah framed the ongoing Lok Sabha elections as a choice between corrupt leaders associated with the INDI alliance and the integrity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized Modi's unblemished record and contrasted it with the alleged corruption of his opponents.

Drawing attention to key issues in West Bengal, Shah emphasized the importance of deciding between supporting infiltrators or implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for refugees. He urged voters to consider whether they prioritize jihad or development (Vikas).

Shah took aim at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of opposing the CAA and aligning with infiltrators for political gain. He criticized her for allegedly prioritizing appeasement politics over the interests of the state.

Overall, Shah's address in Serampore highlighted India's resolve regarding POK, emphasized the choice facing voters in the Lok Sabha elections, and criticized the opposition, particularly the Congress and Mamata Banerjee, for their stance on critical issues.
